Something I realized is that this Word of Faith group is a segment within the Charismatic church. Not all Charismatics share this theology. In fact, at my short time in a Charismatic Bible school, I found lots of students who saw the flaws in the theology. I was exposed to this teaching & ended being very frustated because I was encountering adversity. The bottom line is that you cannot confess your way out of trials. Paul knew what is was like to "abound" & "suffer need". My question would be, would Paul or Peter present themselves in this manner & have the same perspective on money as they do? I have an American friend who is all involved in World Changers, and she's transformed from a true Christian, and a very good person, into somone I dont recognize. MOney and wealth is all she talks about, and to me it seems Creflo Dollar is her God now, not Jesus. I've been to a church meeting with her once and I felt very bad about what Dollar preached about - in fact I beliebe him to be nothing but a greedy scumbag, making a fortune on people's needs. It's no coincident that most of his followers are poor people, who see him as a savior in their eager to get wealthy. If there is a God this man will surely be punished in heaven!
