The Great Exchange

Lately I have been doing a considerable amount of study on Christ’s atonement and related doctrines like justification by faith. I have been reading through several wonderful books that I would like to make you aware of.
One such book is The Great Exchange by Jerry Bridges and Bob Bevington. The Great Exchange is an exposition of the Atonement of Jesus Christ patterned after The Apostles Doctrine of Atonement by George Smeaton.
Another great resource is John Piper’s new book, The Future of Justification.
Piper says of the doctrine of justification by faith:
. . . the truth of justification has become increasingly embattled, so that the truth as I see in the New Testament is increasingly confused and reduced and contradicted.
