Special Prayer Request For My Father
August 1, 2007
To all my readers,
I am asking all of you who believe in the power of prayer to lift up my father (Gale) when you can. Dad has brain cancer (Glioblastoma Multiforme)
*** Update on My Father’s Prognosis — Aug 9, 2007 ***
Dad had his first visit with the Radiation Oncologist and the Dr. confirmed what he had come to understand through some research on the internet. There has been very little advance in the treatment of Glioblastoma Multiforme in the last 30 years. Dad was told those with his condition can expect to live anywhere from 6 - 18 months. As you can imagine, this is not what we wanted to hear, but it is in line with the statistical mortality rate associated with Glioblastoma Multiforme.
So that is what the Doctors say but we will trust in the report of the Lord. We will continue to walk in faith, trusting in the Lord for Dads healing.
Please join us as we continue to pray for Dad. You may also want to pray for these needs as well.
*** Update on My Father’s Prognosis — Aug 6, 2007 ***
Dad was released from the hospital today and the final word in the natural realm is that Dad has level 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme. He will be meeting with a radiation oncologist this Thursday. Please continue to pray that God will touch Dad and make him whole again. We are praying for doctors who have a true concern for the well-being of there patients.
Psalm 121
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
*** Update on My Father’s Prognosis — Aug 3, 2007 ***
Preliminary reports suggest that my father has Glioblastoma Multiforme. This is the most critical or advanced form of brain cancer. Obviously this is not the report we where hoping for but we continue to put our trust in the King of kings and the Lord or lords.
We continue to ask that you agree with us in prayer that God will completely heal my father. We understand God’s ways are not always our ways and his purposes are not always our purposes. Yet we continue to ask God to touch Dad.

Shane and Mr. Trammel,
We are praying for God’s divine and soveriegn will to be done in your lives. As we know, Romans 8:28 “
August 7th, 2007 at 12:04 pm
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to His purpose.” (ESV) can and has been abused and applied to many selfish circumstances in peoples lives, we know that it does indeed apply to you my friend. Please stay focused upon this great promise of the Lord - He WILL work this situation out to honor and glorify Himself and we can take comfort in knowing that He is in full control of it.
We pray for healing and His will to be done -
In love and encouragement from 1 Cor. 13:14

Shane,
Please pass these words to your father:
(Numbers 6:24-26)
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
In Christ,
CD
