A Tribute to Rev. Jerry Falwell

As many of you already know, Rev. Jerry Falwell died today.
We would like to celebrate the fact that Jerry Falwell was a man of biblical conviction. Falwell was openly faithful to the truth of God’s Word when addressing issues of the day like same sex marriage, homosexuality, pornography, and abortion. He was a major force in bringing conservative Christians together to participate in the political process here in the United States.
No doubt evangelicals disagreed with Falwell’s position on many issues. May we put those disagreements aside long enough to remember his life and pray for his family. May the Lord guide those who take up where he left off.
